Navigating through the world of railings can be complex. But don’t worry, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

Do you have a patio that is considered ground level but still wish to have a quality, long lasting railing around it.  Why spend money on an engineered railings system when you don’t need to?  Econo Rail was purpose built for this reason.  Incorporated into its design from concept was the idea of keeping cost down and installation easy.  Simply put, it costs less.

If your patio is more than two feet above the ground, this product may not be right for you, and you may require a fully engineered system.  Check your local building code if in doubt.  If you need a fully engineered system, we recommend www.centuryrailings.com

The pickets are 5/8” x 5/8” and the posts are 1 ¾” x 1 ¾” both are powder coated aluminum.

Many aluminum railing systems require you to cut and install either metal or plastic spacers for each picket and install them both on the top and bottom rails.  Making a mistake here can be both dangerous and lead to your railing being out of alignment, not to mention they can be unsightly and trap dirt.  Econo Rail incorporates a pre-punched powder coated aluminum bottom rail for you so you virtually can’t get it wrong, and it eliminates the need to cut the spacers for the bottom of your railing system.  The top rail uses a pre painted vinyl insert that is super easy to cut and install.  What’s more, is that you only need to cut the top spacer that sits next to the post, and it is hidden inside the rail, out of sight after you install it.

A smooth or gloss finish on aluminum railing can be subject to scratching (from rings, etc.).  Think of that beautiful paint on a new car.  This is particularly noticeable on black railings (not so much on white).  Econo Rail uses a textured black baked on powder coat finish to provide far superior durability and a cooler touch on those hot summer days.
